Research
Fairways represent by far the greatest acreage of managed turfgrass on golf courses, so reducing fungicide use on fairways can have substantial environmental and budgetary impacts. Furthermore, standards for disease control on fairways are not as rigorous as on greens and tees. Therefore, this research was designed to evaluate the efficacy of several threshold-based curative approaches to controlling dollar spot on fairways under natural disease pressure.
