Yield Penalty Due to Delayed Weed Control in Corn and Soybean

S. Z. Knezevic, S. P. Evans, and M. Mainz

February 2003

Research

The widespread use of glyphosate-resistant crops has raised two common questions: when is the best time for postemergence weed control; and what is the cost of a delayed weed control operation? Also, a percent yield loss per leaf stage of delay was determined.
