Alternatives to a glyphosate-based herbicide program are needed in soybean, especially where glyphosate-resistant (GR) Palmer amaranth is present. Herbicide efficacy experiments were established in 2009 and 2010 in a soybean field heavily infested with GR Palmer amaranth to evaluate the use of glufosinate-based and conventional herbicide programs.
