Controlling Weeds Found in Peanut with Lactofen

Peanut growers have expressed interest on the use of various spray adjuvants with lactofen. No previous research could be found that investigated the use of various adjuvants with lactofen. The present studies were conducted to: (i) determine response of peanut and the weeds horse purslane, Palmer amaranth, and smellmelon to lactofen applied to weeds at different growth stages and with different surfactants; and (ii) determine weed control efficacy with lactofen applied alone or sequentially following 2,4-DB.
