Summary:
This presentation will help consultants, growers, and other practitioners in all regions of the United States. Although examples and data are from the north-central region of the US, concepts can be applied wherever soybean is grown. Part one of the two-part series discusses soybean yield and how factors during the plant's life cycle influence yield. Part two builds on information presented in part one and describes six keys to increasing soybean yield. By the end of the presentation, practitioners will better understand how soybean plants produce yield and will be able to use that understanding to develop cropping systems that enhance profitable soybean production.
