Summary: This presentation will help growers and consultants use nitrogen more efficiently and reduce nitrogen emissions into the atmosphere. Loss of nitrogen from our agriculture systems is costly to both a growers economics as well as to us environmentally. Ammonia volatilization is one of the principle ways that nitrogen is lost to the air. Knowing how to manage nitrogen to minimize this loss is key to making growers more efficient and reducing our environmental impact.
