This presentation will help consultants, growers, and other practitioners in the North Central and Eastern Great Lakes region identify and manage two of the major cutworms impacting corn production. Specifically, this webcast will cover the biology, identification and scouting protocols for the management of black cutworm and western bean cutworm. By the end of this presentation the practitioner will know more about black cutworm and western bean cutworm, the differences between the two species, and the appropriate scouting and management techniques to prevent and protect against damage from these pests.
