Soybean Rust Update
This presentation will provide an update on Soybean rust in the U.S. Topics will include a discussion on general characteristics of the pathogen, including symptom development; the role of kudzu as an overwintering host in the disease life cycle; benefits obtained from the National Soybean Rust project; seasonal weather conditions that favor or limit the development and spread of soybean rust in the U.S.; and fungicide use strategies to combat this disease.
