Image resolution and quality affects the ability of Assess to identify lesions, but not before the image is visibly blurred. At very low resolutions or low quality JPEG settings, non-necrotic areas of the leaves begin to be selected by the segmentation process. Artifacts, as small recurring tick marks, are apparent in images with low quality JPEG compression.
