Twelve single lesions were collected from ASR infected soybean leaves and DNA extractions were performed using the DNeasy Plant mini kit (QIAGEN). From each extraction, 1 ┬Ál of DNA was used for real-time PCR assays using the Cepheid Smart Cycler with (D) wet chemistry or (E) dry bead formulations.
