Wintergreen) and the number of daughter branches (DB) sourced from the mother tree that developed one or more tumors (triangles) in their nursery plots. Mother trees were inspected for tumors prior to propagation (open circles) and again after propagation (closed circles); dates of activities are listed in Table 1. Daughter branches were inspected for tumors in their nursery plots about 4 months after propagation from the dates listed in Table 1.
