First Report of <i>Pantoea ananatis</i> (Syn. <i>Erwinia uredovora</i>) Being Associated with Peanut Rust in Georgia

The highly abundant yellow, smooth, shiny colonies resulted on >3,800 significant hits for the species Pantoea ananatis during BLAST analysis of high throughput sequencing, and were again confirmed as this species by cloning and sequencing of their 16S rRNA gene in the present work.
