The American Society of Agronomy is
dedicated to the development of agriculture enabled by science, in harmony with
environmental and human values. The Society supports scientific, educational,
and professional activities that enhance communication and technology transfer
among agronomists and those in related disciplines on topics of local, regional,
national, and international significance. With more than 12,000 members
worldwide the American Society of Agronomy is a leader in serving its members
through publications, recognition awards, placement service, certification
programs, and student activities. The Society also cooperates with other public
and private organizations as well as related scientific and professional
societies in meeting common goals.
