The Potash & Phosphate Institute (PPI), headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia, is a worldwide,
not-for-profit market development organization that utilizes agronomic research and education programs
to advance the appropriate agronomic and environmental use of potassium, phosphorus, and other plant nutrients.
Member companies who produce potash and phosphate fund PPI. The Potash & Phosphate Institute of Canada (PPIC),
located in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, administers the Institute’s international programs. The Foundation for
Agronomic Research (FAR) was created by PPI to expand the Institute’s research and education programs and
allow the participation of others interested in improving the yields and efficiency of production agriculture.
