The Plant Sciences Unit at the University of Missouri is the foundation of research, teaching, and outreach efforts in plant agriculture at the University of Missouri-Columbia. The PSU is a division of the MU College of Agriculture, Food and Natural Resources, and encompasses the disciplines of agronomy, entomology, horticulture, and plant pathology. This structure of the PSU encourages interdisciplinary cooperation to meet the needs of farmers, agribusinesses, and others involved in and benefiting from the life sciences. The PSU is one of six such interdisciplinary units within CAFNR.
