Virginia Cooperative Extension is an educational outreach program of Virginia's two land grant universities: Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University, and Virginia State University. Virginia Cooperative Extension enables people to improve their lives through an educational process that uses scientific knowledge. Building on the strength of our agriculture, natural resource, family, and community heritage, we enable people to shape their futures through research based educational programs.
