The College of Agricultural and Life Sciences aims to improve the quality of
life by discovering, critically analyzing and sharing knowledge in food and
agriculture, the life sciences, natural resource and environmental stewardship,
and rural community development. Strong research-based education is responsive
to public needs and social, economic, and environmental concerns. Steenbock
Memorial Library is the primary resource library for the University of
Wisconsin-Madison's College of Agricultural and Life Sciences, School of Human
Ecology, School of Veterinary Medicine and UW Extension, Cooperative Extension.
