Can Risk Analysis Colorize the Black and White of Transgenic Crops?

Review

Scientifically-based risk analysis of transgenic crops might help this new technology to develop along paths most beneficial to society. After briefly reviewing the state of agricultural biotechnology, I focus on the ecological risks of genetically engineered crop plants. I suggest how better risk analysis could promote a more rational discussion regarding biotechnology.
