Sensitivity of Kansas Isolates of Sclerotinia homoeocarpa to Boscalid

B. R. Gonzalez and M. M. Kennelly

April 2012

Management of dollar spot, caused by Sclerotinia homoeocarpa, in golf courses relies heavily on application of fungicides. Studies are needed testing the sensitivity of S. homoeocarpa isolates from Kansas to boscalid, a relatively new fungicide, and comparing in vitro sensitivity and actual fungicide efficacy on plants. This study’s objective was to test the in vitro sensitivity of 71 Kansas isolates of S. homoeocarpa to boscalid and to compare the results to fungicide performance on plants for a subset of those isolates.
