Survival of Cercospora sojina on Soybean Leaf Debris in Illinois

To better understand the survival rate of C. sojina in Illinois, a field study at three Illinois locations and a greenhouse bioassay were conducted. The results suggest advantages to planting a nonhost crop for two years in central Illinois; soybean farmers in southern Illinois may need a longer rotation for frogeye leaf spot management.
