SedgeHammer™ Herbicide: A New Name for Proven Product

Yuma, Arizona (September 1, 2005) – Gowan Company announces the launch of SedgeHammer™ Herbicide, a new selective herbicide for use in controlling nutsedge in turf and landscaped areas, including those with established woody ornamentals. New to Gowan Company, SedgeHammer Herbicide replaces Manage® Turf Herbicide by Monsanto®.

SedgeHammer effectively controls both yellow and purple nutsedge in cool season and warm season turfgrasses with demonstrated safety to most turfgrass species. “With SedgeHammer Herbicide, turf managers and lawn professionals can continue to rely on the same proven efficacy as its predecessor, Manage Turf Herbicide.
