Scotts Company Renames Fungo To Allban, Improves Label

The Scotts Company.

Marysville, Ohio (May 31, 2006) — The Scotts® Company Professional Business Group has renamed its popular fungicide Fungo® to AllBan™ and expanded the label to include landscape and turf.

AllBan, available in liquid formulations and water soluble bags, contains thiophanate-methyl, allowing one application to handle the most common ornamental diseases. Additionally, AllBan is more concentrated than other leading fungicides, delivering more active ingredient per concentrated ounce. It provides consistent disease control on a broad spectrum of 21 key ornamental diseases and is the most consistent product for Pythium control. It has long-lasting systemic activity and is an ideal partner in tank mix combinations.

Now labeled for field, nursery, greenhouse, landscape and turf use on a wide variety of plants, AllBan is applied by foliar spray, drench, dip or chemigation.

“We are excited to reintroduce the highly flexible AllBan and announce the enhancement to the label,” said Tina Marshall, product manager, Scotts Professional Business Group. “These changes provide plenty of benefits to more professional nursery growers, landscape managers and installers.”
