New Technology Kills Asian Rust Spores on Contact and Increases Yield by 23% to 39%

Oro Agri Inc.

Dallas, TX (July 11, 2005) - Oro Agri announced today that PREV-AM®, an Insecticide / Fungicide, increased yield on soybeans crops, (infected by Asian-rust), by 23% or 607 lbs. per acre when used alone.

The independent commissioned study from South Africa further indicated that chlorothalonil & azoxystrobin used together without the PREV-AM, increased yields by 13%.

When PREV-AM was added to the chlorothalonil & azoxystrobin combination, the three-product approach increased yields by 39% or 946 lb per acre (1,060 kg/ha).

Additional, PREV-AM only, testing also indicated that spores were killed on contact without having to wait days for activity. (Full report)

Mark Russell, Sales Director for Oro Agri, stated that these results are consistent with what we have seen in the past when combining PREV-AM with different chemistries. PREV-AM works with a different Mode Of Action and is a powerful addition to a grower or consultant’s arsenal.

PREV-AM presents the Soybean market with diversification of a new type of safe chemistry to combat the disease, increase yields on infected crops and minimize pathogen resistance development. PREV-AM is a broad Fungicide / Insecticide / Miticide used for treating a wide variety of pests.

Oro Agri has applied for PREV-AM label expansion in 2004 to include Soybean to the list of already approved crops, such as: vegetables (e.g. beans, tomatoes, peppers, broccoli, etc.) berry crops, cotton, peanuts, tree fruit and tree nut crops, grass and ornamentals. All requirements for label expansion have been met and we anticipate approval soon.

Mark further stated that the irony is we can’t claim Section 18 as PREV-AM is Tolerance Exempt which would be ideal for local and export crops. PREV-AM also has 12hr R.E.I. / P.H.I. According to Mark, PREV-AM has enjoyed a fast growing following in the US and foreign vegetable markets and has more than 200 independent studies to support the product.

Currently there are already some US and foreign major multinational organizations that have either shown interest or are in process of reformulating PREV-AM to be included in their formulations to improve their product’s overall performance.

Mark goes on to state that while PREV-AM will end up in select insect and fungicide products to improve their performance, Oro Agri will continue to distribute PREV-AM as a tank-mix product via Oro Agri’s select distribution partners: Agriliance/Prosource One, Britz Fertilizer, Brandt/ClawEL, Triangle/Cardinal, Plant Protection Sciences, UAP (USA and RSA), Certis de Mexico, MAPPAC (Thailand, S. Korea, Indonesia, Vietnam, etc.), Nexus (RSA), Plant Solutions (UK), SurfAgri (FR) and other select distributors.
