KEE Technologies Releases the ZYNX X20 Multi Functional Console

The Next Generation of Complete Precision Agriculture Systems

KEE Technologies

Las Vegas, Nevada (October 30, 2005) - KEE Technologies, a leader in the manufacturer of precision agriculture and farming solutions, announced the release of its next generation ZYNX X20 system at the Farm Equipment and Manufacturers Association (FEMA) Convention in Las Vegas today.

“The success of our current ZYNX range of precision farming solutions has been unprecedented” KEE’s Chief Executive Officer, Les Mann said when he made the announcement. “Today we are releasing the next generation ZYNX solution giving our customers the most robust and the most powerful and the most flexible precision farming solution available.”

The ZYNX X20 complete farming solution provides an advanced precision agriculture system for farmers including: automatic steering; satellite guidance; up to five bin/tank one-pass variable rate seeding/planting applications including granular, liquid and NH3 control; up to 30 auto boom section sprayer control; fertilizer spreading; and harvester control and monitoring. All from a single, rugged, Windows® XP cabin console. The ZYNX X20 also supports the industry standard ISO11783 CANBUS.

“The new X20 has a fantastic super-bright touch-screen that has a screen area that is 70% larger than the X10 and X15 but the actual high impact enclosure is about the same size. Our farmers wanted a larger screen – and we’ve done that. They also wanted a more powerful system – and we’ve also done that. Our customers, who are some of the most advanced and cost efficient farmers in the world wanted a system capable of handling 30 section auto-boom shutoff and 5 layer variable rate mapping with elevation maps and the flexibility to add more and more features.

“The X20 comes standard with the Windows® XP Professional Operating System so it provides the flexibility to add other applications such as wireless networking with other X20s, digital devices and IT systems that are being demanded by our most progressive farmers, more advanced OEMs and agribusiness customers.”

“Real time connection of the in-vehicle console with other digital systems or access through the Internet allowing real time monitoring and control will be a driver to the acceptance for the X20. This connectivity available through the X20 will allow real improvements to the efficient operations by farm managers.” Les Mann said.

Graeme Kennelly, KEE’s Global Marketing Manager, said, “The market has really accepted our products in a big way in the United States and Canada – its great to be able to launch the X20 here at FEMA. Nothing on the market can beat a ZYNX X20 for true multi-tasking. Being able to start with a simple screen based manual guidance system and be able to progressively add applications – without cluttering up the cab is a real bonus. Farmers have told us that with guidance plus auto-steer, variable rate application and mapping is saving them between 20-30 percent on fertilizer and chemicals as well as over 10% on fuel costs. With the current cost of fuel, energy and other farm input costs the ZYNX from KEE Technologies is the only way to go.”

KEE is located in both Alberta and South Dakota and has distributors and OEMs throughout the major farming regions of North America.
