SDSU Extension Circular EC909-07, "Sunflower: 2007 South Dakota Hybrid Performance Trials" can be downloaded in PDF format from this link: agbiopubs.sdstate.edu. The 20-page document discusses how oilseed and confection hybrids performed at locations around South Dakota and also includes a climate summary. SDSU Extension Oilseeds Specialist Kathy Grady said the document is one tool producers can use while evaluating sunflower varieties for their own farm operations. A printed booklet including sunflower performance trials from both North and South Dakota should be available in mid-January from county Extension offices. Contact: |
