This symposium, presented at the 2004 meeting of the Crop Science Society of America in Seattle, Washington, discussed the aspects of plant arrangements in fields with a focus on row spacing. Speakers comprised many disciplines, which included crop physiology, plant pathology, weed science, and agronomy.
