New Brunswick, New Jersey (March 3, 2010)–The 2010 fungicide resistance management guide for vegetable crops grown in the mid-Atlantic region is now available for free on-line. Since 2007, over 5,000 fungicide resistance management guides have been distributed to vegetable growers, county extension agents, extension specialists and crop advisors in the mid-Atlantic and surrounding region.
The fungicide resistance management guide has become an important reference tool for making correct fungicide resistance management decisions to help mitigate resistance development in the region. The fungicide resistance management guide is an important supplement to the mid-Atlantic commercial vegetable recommendations guide which has a distribution of over 3,500 copies a year.
The 2010 version of fungicide resistance management guidelines is available for free on-line at Rutgers University’s Vegetable Crops On-Line Resource Center hosted by the New Jersey Agricultural Experiment Station and or available through the University of Maryland. Hardcopies are also available for free by contacting Andy Wyenandt, Extension Specialist in Vegetable Pathology, Rutgers University at 856-455-3100 ext. 4144 or at email@example.com.
