East Hartford, Connecticut (July 18, 2013)--BioSafe Systems is excited to introduce OxiPhos, a new systemic bactericide/fungicide. OxiPhos will be a valuable to the potato industry with proven efficacy against storage pathogens including Pink Rot, Late Blight Tuber Rot, and Pythium Leak. Harvested potatoes can be treated with OxiPhos before storage on bin pilers and during storage through humidification systems.
BioSafe Systems is a family-owned manufacturer of sustainable crop protection solutions. The addition of OxiPhos to their extensive line of agrichemical solutions provides an increased level of disease control for all post harvest applications. BioSafe Systems’ CEO Rob Larose says, “OxiPhos is a combination of phosphorous acid and activated peroxide that provides a one-two punch against potato pathogens.” The activated peroxide helps the phosphorous acid active ingredient have a broader effect on targeted organisms.
BioSafe Systems recommends tank mixing OxiPhos with its StorOx 2.0 product for added power; this combination can also be used with OxiDate 2.0 for pre-harvest foliar applications.
