Summary: This presentation will help consultants, growers, and other practitioners in the cotton producing regions of the United States to better understand the role of secondary and micronutrients in cotton production. This presentation will describe the physiological function of secondary and micronutrients in overall plant health as well as give insight to the where these nutrients accumulate in the cotton plant. Lastly, the presentation will provide some basic troubleshooting tips to identify nutrient deficiencies and correctly sample plant tissue for laboratory analysis to confirm nutrient deficiencies in problem fields.
